ANIBIC is a pioneer in the provision of services to older people with special needs. Third Age Living Options ®, Inc. was developed to serve consumers who are developmentally disabled adults, who will have typically attained retirement age and require services and/or living arrangements beyond those of their current residential setting, but who do not require the intensity of services provided in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). It should be noted that, assisted living communities and most SNF's are generally not prepared for the special needs of our consumers.

Third Age Living Options ®, Inc. will be a self-contained retirement community made up of studio and two bedroom apartments for developmentally disabled individuals "Self-contained" does not mean segregated. Services will include an onsite traditional senior center, which will be open to any senior, regardless of whether that senior is impaired, as well as potential consumer owned and operated shops and an organic farm. Transportation will be provided to enable consumers to make use of outside services if they so desire.

ANIBIC has acquired the land for the development of this project and will be developing it over the next few months.
